In Literacy we are learning about Play scripts. We would like you to create a play script between two commentators during a football match.

e.g.

Dave: Trippier takes the ball; he is running into the box (getting faster as he speaks).

Phil: Referee has seen a foal and given a penalty. Penalty for England! (Shouting and throwing his hands into the air at the speed of light).

World Cup 2018

As you know the world cup started this week. Write all about the country you picked out of the pot.

Questions you might want to answer:

·       Where is your country located?

·       What is the population?

·       What makes your country unique?

·       What is the climate like?

·       What is their national food?

·       What is the main religion in the country?

The Romans

The Romans had many great inventions.

In your opinion, what was the Romans best invention? 

You need to explain what the invention is and explain why you think it is the greatest invention.

Volcanoes

After half term we will be starting a new topic on volcanoes.

Your task is to find out all about volcanoes. Can you find out:

·        How are volcanoes are formed?

·        Examples of different volcanoes

·        Where are volcanoes are located?

·        Different types of volcanoes

We would like you to present your findings to the rest of the class. You could make a powerpoint presentation or create an infromation sheet. Make sure you inlcude pictures.
